Last week at this time, we were preparing for our sold-out show at the Moonshine Cafe. A few hours after we left the stage, we began to drive east to begin our 4th tour of Eastern Canada.
Our soundman at the Moonshine show was Brian McCullough, a legend in our industry having produced sound for the Good Brothers and many others for decades. He took my book (My Good Times With Stompin' Tom) home that night and a few days later, he sent me this review:
"It was an absolutely fantastic read (with my Stompin’ Tom LP’s playing in the background). As I’d said, I was lucky enough to see Tom@OntPlaceForum, but I’d never met him, and your book corrects that! I’d heard some of the stories but you put them in context, and more than any other book, I now feel like I know Tom and understand him better."
I arrived in the Maritimes last week with the last of my supply, only 40 copies. We're half way through the tour and I'll arrive in Annapolis Royal Nova Scotia with only 5 copies to sell. I released the book in 2019 and after 1100 copies sold, I thought interest had waned. Apparently not.
More copies are on the way. I will be able to fill all the website orders when I return.
