Anatomy of a Successful Live Show

If you’re hesitant about hosting a live indoor show at your venue, please consider the following.

Those of us in the entertainment industry live for that “special night” when the audience leaves the theatre smiling and with love in their hearts.  We experienced a night just like that at the Gibson Centre in Alliston Ontario on September 23, 2021.  It was a "first since Covid" for both of us.

Whiskey Jack’s collaboration with Jennifer Fortin and the Gibson Centre was a template for indoor live music moving forward.  Good planning and experienced execution were the necessary ingredients.  Judging by the attendance and the feedback, the audience agrees with us.

One of our fans, Nicholas, wrote:  “I decided to go last minute and the show blew me away. I was not sure what I was expecting but it blew my expectations out of the water. I can’t wait to do it again”.

Executive Director Jennifer Fortin wrote:  “EVERYONE that I spoke to was thrilled with the performance and said how good it made them feel.  I will share our success with anyone who will listen.”

Details:  The audience bought tickets online where the protocols were clearly stated.  Each group, regardless of the size, had their chairs (and tables in some cases) set up before they arrived.  All who entered the theatre provided proof (soon with a passport) that they were double vaccinated.  Masks were worn at all times by everyone, except when seated, spaced appropriately, and on the stage, also spaced appropriately.

If you like, Jennifer and I are both available to share our experiences, both from the presenter’s perspective, and the entertainer’s.

Whiskey Jack Presents Stories & Songs of Stompin’ Tom is open for business and booking shows from Ontario to Eastern Canada.

Informative? Yes. Entertaining? Most definitely. Being a live event, the goal of a successful show is simple: Get people who want to be there out to your show and make them happy they showed up and also they need to check ukessays.com review in order to manage the task. This is where things can get tricky as you have to take all comers - from those who are die-hard.

Whiskey Jack's Legends of Canadian Country Music

Whiskey Jack's Legends of Canadian Country Music

Sunday, June 12 @ 3:00PM (EDT, UTC-04)Sun, Jun 12 @ 3:00PM (EDT, UTC-04)

Town Hall Heritage Theatre , 274 Josephine St,, Wingham, Ontario N0G 2W0

John Miller, artistic director of Huron Waves Music Festival has invited Duncan and Whiskey Jack to debut their new touring show, Legends of Canadian Country Music. The date is June 12, 2022 and the location is home of another legend, the CKNX Barn Dance, Wingham Ontario. Joining Whiskey Jack for this extravaganza will be Brian Good from The Good Brothers and Canadian Hall of Fame recipient, Marie Bottrell. The musical history on the stage for this show turns it into an afternoon of "Legends honouring Legends". Given Whiskey Jack's years with the CBC on The Tommy Hunter Show and as Stompin' Tom's touring band, these hardened road warriors are well suited to represent the generation that was inspired by ....Gordon Lightfoot, Ian Tyson, Gordie Tapp, Wilf Carter, Don Messer, The Good Brothers, Prairie Oyster and more. All multiple award winners in their field, seasoned veterans Brian Good, his wife Susie and Marie Bottrell bring their own stories and songs to the stage.
